How We Do Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy is a rehabilitation service that uses movement to help people recover from pain and injury. It seeks to improve pain, strength, and physical function.
At Genesis Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation, I offer personalized physiotherapy based on your individual needs and goals to start you on your journey back to wellness. Our physiotherapist is continually reading recent research in order to ensure you are receiving quality and evidence-based care.
One-on-One
At Genesis Physiotherapy, you will always work one-on-one with your physiotherapist. It allows me to be consistently involved in your rehab journey, continually monitoring your progress and adapting your treatment plan in real time. You'll never work with an assistant or be left to your exercises on your own.

Patient-Directed
Physiotherapy should be about more than just healing an injured tissue. Your insight and goals are an important part of the process. I have training in the human body and exercise, but there is no better expert on you than you! Together, we will work as a team to reach the goals that are meaningful to your life!
Evidence-Informed
Evidence-informed treatment goes beyond staying up to date with the latest research. It involves interpreting research findings and being able to apply them to your specific situation. I repeatedly go back to scholarly journals to help inform my treatment and ensure that you are getting the best care that I can provide.

Cost-Effective
My job is to work myself out of a job! The better you get, the less you need to see me. While some cases require ongoing management, my goal is to help you become independent and self-sufficient when it comes to managing your pain and injuries. So, the less you need me over time, the less you need to come back!
Extended Treatment
At Genesis Physiotherapy, every treatment lasts 45 minutes. Longer than an average appointment, the extra time allows us to reduce hurry, reassess the changes since your last appointment, and adjust to your changing needs. It's all part of how I put patients' needs first
